The trailer for this video got posted some time ago, and now it's finally out - Almond's "Skanks and Bodyshots" video has dropped. Ben Hucke, Jared Washington (bonus gun show from him too) and Shane Weston do some cool bits 'n' bobs in this. Hop nothings look like the weirdest trick ever...

Cavalcade of awesomeness?

You betcha! First off, an amazing edit from Kink featuring footage from the Kink House. Considering they're on 'flow', Lloyd and Ben Hittle absolutely rule in this. Some super good riding in it and a cool edit, so set aside some time to check it out. Right now.



Continuing the 'Best of 2010' web videos shenanigans, Defgrip have just put up this collection of their exclusive edits from the past year. Some really great videos in there (naturally), too many to feasibly list.

Season's Greetings...

Some pretty good Christmas treats came out yesterday from Sunday, Fly, and Subrosa. Sunday decided to get a whole load of Santa suits and everyone on their Pro and Flow teams (and even their company members) to get rad. As Jim C says:

“That’s right Santa gets rad! Well, maybe just everyone over here at Sunday gets rad in Santa suits. The whole main team, flow team and employees can be seen shredding in this video. This was such a fun video to make. People really love Santa. Numerous times random people stopped to get there photos taken with Santa, snap photos of Santa riding or just got a smile on there face because they got to see Santa. There was even a 4 year old boy who was so stoked to ride with Santa, who was played by Gary Young at the time. Everyone here at Sunday would like to wish you a merry Christmas and happy holiday!”



Fly's past few videos have been dece, and Tres is no different. Some great riding from a pretty wide selection of riders, you're almost guaranteed to find something you'll like (even some streety grindy-grindy action).



Just like she said, it's a lengthy beast so you might wanna grab some left-overs from yesterday, something to drink and full screen that beaut...

As an additional thing - after a bit of a lurk on the Fly site, I spotted this interview with Stefan Lantschner. Love watching him ride, and it's cool to get a bit more of a background. Some sweet videos on that page too, so go have an explore even if you're got the reading attention span of a foetus. As a side note - Stefan and Kevin Kalkoff had pretty much my 2 favourite sections in the whole video. Stefan's one of the only people I've ever seen hit Wapping wallride anywhere near as good as Joe Fox (who's got a cool interview in RideUK)), high praise indeed! Kevin K has also come on a lot in the past few videos I've seen of him. It's interesting how Fly's team have spread out/branched out now so they've got such a wide range of riders. All good.

Lahsaan Kobza has both a pretty amazing name, and now a contract for the Subrosa Pro team. All good. Defgrip have the exclusive.

Kink have put up their Euro Jetlagged video. Lloyd's got some bangers in this, as does pretty much everyone. Plenty of general drunken debauchery, but some good riding too!



More info's come out on the... er... 'interesting' Aitken gloves - those brown ones could actually be made of human faeces and they'd still sell like hot cakes. Check 'em here. If you like your gloves less camp, you're also covered.

I made mention of that Eastpak edit that Stefan Lantschner did a day or two ago - this is a new edit of Simone Barracco for Shadow that Stefan's filmed and edited. Really feeling it. Some cool lines, nice views, nice angles and generally good vibes. Kid's got skilled.



Danger's now on TheTrip, and this is his intro video. That beasty three near the end of the video - my my...



Lastly, I sorta liked this video but was a bit here nor there - however, I'm posting it for the perfect 540 air. I mean really, outside of Jamie Bestwick and a vert ramp, they don't get much better than that.

Late night's all right.

The last time something BMX related left me this cold, it was -8°C in Leeds city centre in the back of a transit van in the middle of the night. Kudos to him I guess.



Getting warmer now - the guy's got an interesting style, but the ender is all good.



Getting warmer still - Tobias Wicke is a prime example for all front brake aficionados out there that without a front brake there's a much wider world out there than toothpick and whiplash variations, spines and volcanoes.



Getting even warmer still - I'm all about seeing new Lloyd Wright media be it with him in front of or behind the camera. In this instance it's behind, making the most of his new pro rider celebrity contacts now he's living the high life over at Seventies - a whole load of photographic goodness.

Toasty now - Eric Lichtenberger not only has a name that I always have to think twice about spelling (should've done when I tagged him last. I lose.), but he also has a great eye for the unusual in terms of BMX trickery. This video's no exception.



Totally messing up the whole literary routing of this post, but it needs to be said - I mentioned a Cult rider earlier, and it makes sense to also mention that the Let 'Em Talk video is absolutely awesome. I've actually had the song from Russ "Got really, really good in the past few months" Barone's section stuck in my head all day, and if anyone knows the name of the intro song they're a full-on, absolute winner if they leave it in the comments.

...that is all.

Man, uploading large files is pretty much the least fun ever. If this times out, heads will roll.

In total contrast, the Euro trip that Lloyd has been on with Kink seems like it's both been going on since time began, but is also a load of fun.

Speaking of - saw this video today, and the intro alone made it worth sharing with others. The riding's pretty sweet too, but the intro... well... you'll see. In bonus news, this also features the not-really-new-but-new-to-me skatepark in Hereford. The older one was a wooden beaut complete with a BMX race track that made Chandlers Ford seem like some kind of Olympic facility. New park looks 'reet good laaaaaaaark' to quote the Northerners up here.



Will Evans wins.

Danny Hickerson also wins, as does his section from Grounded. This is part 3, the rest are floating about if you're particularly keen on watching it. I still can't believe that rip-off Yeah Right section. Poor form.



Lastly, and somewhat making this a bit of a "People I've met a while back who were pretty good who are now really, really good" double header with the Lloyd content above, Tom Davis is a bit good. Filmed over 2 days in Coventry, then sorta just let loose to the public, there's some good bits 'n' bobs here, which also reminded me that Coventry is a bit of a treat in terms of stuff to ride.



Actually, this is lastly. A friend of mine showed me this video today without telling me who it was. Turns out it's a bit older but I just glossed over it before 'cos I wasn't really massively into what I thought was the way Zack Gerber rides. Turns out there's been a fair bit of development of both style and riding. This is awesome.

A day late...

Well, slightly more than that in that this is a "Tuesdays by Miles" video and it's a Friday. Still, it's pretty rad!



Kevin Kiraly is pretty handy when it comes to riding bicycles. As a direct result of that, he's now got a signature setup coming out on Verde which you can check out here.

FFWD also had this video of Lloyd up today, which is fairly ridiculous. Boy got skills.



Happened to check out the United site today too, and they've got a little post talking about Leo Forte's design site, which is here. I'm into art/design, so it was cool to see even though it contains a set of spiral stairs that I'm pretty sure would end my life, judging from my stair-walking-down success of late. Dead sailor...

I'd imagine that Leo Forte would probably be into this video as it features some trails - it's been pretty much everywhere already but that doesn't really lessen it's impact, in both a literal and figurative sense.



That video's by Pretty Shady who also posted up this video of great success on a different line. Those trails are beast, and wider-than-the-world Youtube embeds are pretty beast too. They've also given me a desire to watch the old Twenty vid of Alex Dropsy annihilating a set of trails filmed on a helmet cam, which is officially the (second) most ridiculous trails footage I've seen. So good, yet so hard to now find...

I wasn't particularly into this edit overall, but Caleb Quanbeck absolutely owns nose manuals, and in the hopes that watching it again might make me get even fractionally better at doing them I'm posting this. Monkey see, monkey do.



Very much lastly, 'cos it's officially riding time, here's an edit from Odyssey. Terry Adams makes his riding look as goofy as Aaron Ross's stance in this, but it's a fun video to watch and they both do some cool stuff, so give it a scope.

Man alive, check out the new Partners In Crime edit over on Freedom - those spots are amazing! Pretty rad video too, but hot damn, I wanna ride Spain/Italy now! Linkage.

Don't know whether it's 'cos they've got some holes to fill in their range now, or just that 4Down have been working on this for a while, but Ben Lewis is getting a signature frame according to Ride.



20″ – 21″ TT, 13″ rear end, 75.5 HT and 69 degree ST - interesting.

Apparently Seventies have a bit of room in their warehouses after Xmas, as they've managed to build a pretty nuts looking indoor setup there. Fair bit more to that than there was last time I was there!



In some ways I was glad I missed the NCSL prem so I didn't have to watch myself ride. Unfortunately for Sean Sexton and Darryl Tocco, this video got made. I guess on the flipside, they're actually amazingly good so it shouldn't be quite so much of a hardship...

90's pop culture reference imminent

This is a bit Del Amitri, but now it's dropped on Streetphire it's officialy official - Carlos has got all-round rad dude and awesome rider Niki Croft to join the might Pijin shop team. Trooper. Here's a photo of a redonkulous wallride to flat taken by Lloyd Wright too:

Reminisce.

I remember seeing a clip of Chase Hawk doing a 360 to manual on the T-1 ramp in You Get What You Get (You need to see this vid if you haven't) and thinking it was amazing, turns out he's got them awesome and indeed brakeless according to this new video from Nuno.



Saw this video over on Deluxe, and it's amazing! Haven't seen anything like it before, looks like such a fun session. Top marks to those who put spade to dirt to make them.



Seventies have a cool 'team' video up where they show some of the shoots for their new catalogues 'n' stuff - some old footage that people won't have seen yet, and some more recent stuff. Fun fact - when Niki does the whip on the bank to 180 off, then high fives a Shelter worker, he got her number. Seeing Niki work his magic on her was amazing, like putty in his hand.



Saw this on the Fly site when I was looking for the not particularly interesting video of Kevin Porter putting a tube on his bike, but got reminded about it by TCU - here's a bikecheck with Stefan Lantschner, featuring a frame I was nearly going to buy tomorrow. So near, yet so far. In related news, see all you Southampton dudes tomorrow!

Down at Exi yesterday, Dino was talking about a guy called Fathead, who apparently also won a pair of Lotek shoes at the last P5 jam up in Newcastle. I hadn't really heard of him before, but upon checking out Streetphire, I noticed Tom Kirkby had switched out the no longer working RTRBTN "Hitler" video for this new edit by Cleggy. It's rad, watch it!



No meat = bad back!

John put up some pics of the new WTP completes last week, but apparently they were a little premature. To set the record straight, Klaus over in Cologne has popped up a flipbook with more photos and plenty of details about the new line. Seriously dialled bikes, and I don't use that horrendously over-used word lightly. Click it to view full-screen, which is obviously recommended unless you're a Borrower or something.



I'd happily ride pretty much any one of the top end ones. Gone are the days of rubbish 1 piece cranks and 44t sprockets on all the completes around!

Random bit of other info - Kink's newest conquer-all rider Lloyd has now learnt flairs, meaning he's pretty much there on his quest to become one with Sean Sexitime. No idea if this'll work, but check the HD video here. Take it to the streets next!
