Finally, that weekend has passed. Stress over!
Anyways, two videos I happened to check out after being AWOL for a few days - firstly, the ever awesome Tammy doing some bicycling manoeuvres for Coalition, and secondly a video from Proper featuring a couple of their - to quote them - "lesser known" riders in the form of Shaun Jinks and Jamie Guile, with help from Rory Duncan. The video's filmed in East Paris, which I now very much want to go to. Those spots are mental, but there's also some cool lines in this vid so check it ouuuut!

Credit.
Cult update their website pretty much all the time with bits of info about their team riders, often accompanied with cool photos. Today is no exception, with Trey Jones doing a pretty rad manoeuvre - click here to view it.
Kink have put up their Euro Jetlagged video. Lloyd's got some bangers in this, as does pretty much everyone. Plenty of general drunken debauchery, but some good riding too!
More info's come out on the... er... 'interesting' Aitken gloves - those brown ones could actually be made of human faeces and they'd still sell like hot cakes. Check 'em here. If you like your gloves less camp, you're also covered.
Sunday continue to have a good team and a bad video player - here's a combination of those facts:
I don't think I posted it yesterday, but the second Lotek Mixtape video is going live now. This is the first section featuring David Grant and Craig Passero, rad stunts galore.

More cool things...
Think I saw this on United's website, but essentially it was a link to a cool ESPN gallery. There's a rad photo of Geoff Slattery laying a table, and also a pretty cool motocross pic in there as well. Definitely worth looking through, go here for that!
Also on ESPN is a little interview with Shawn Garrett. Has some interesting stuff in there, might get some people thinking more along their lines. Clickity.
The Set seem to be picking up riders, this time it's Travis Sexsmith.
Lastly, a new frame from Proper, the BSH. More info on it here. Sounds like a bit of a beast...

Rapid fire.
I have no time, but I now have a wireless internet dongle so it should be all good for posting at home now. Ideal!

Speaking of Adam's working, Adam Roye is still doing Cult 'zine, which is awesome news! In related zine news, the new Holeshot is out, and it's pretty fine. Get some...
I'm a pretty big fan of Tom Perry (click his label for some vids), and he's now got a bike check on Odyssey. Colour matching parts with your hair - good effort?
Proper have a new copper colourway out, check out their site for the new range. Got 'em in 20", 20.6", 21" and 21.2". Some new colourways on the bars too, go lookit!
Lastly, for all your photographers out there, I think Howies are doing a photo comp with Dig, but Dig's site isn't playing ball. From what my Mum tells me (don't ask), details are in the back of the latest issue.

Busy day?
Moving house, driving for 7 hours, not water in my house all day. Grumble. May well explain this post?
These are two new videos from Nike (That I saw over on Defgrip - linkity link!). I can appreciate that people outside of BMX might be able to make better looking videos with fancier graphics, but if you want someone to capture the 'feel' of BMX, someone involved with it is always going to get the point. It's pretty much a fact. If you look at photography and video work by people like Edd Templeton, Larry Clark and so on, their work is amazing because they're actively involved with what they're portraying. You can't get the real atmosphere and vibe of something if you have no involvement with it. There are so many talented filmers and photographers involved with BMX it seems ridiculous that they overlooked all of them. The majority of the BMX media world are generally under-valued as it is (Bearing in mind that without good filmers, those DVDs and web-videos everyone like to watch wouldn't exist, and without good photographers, those magazines that people like to read wouldn't exist either), so when they're denied even getting some kind of break by companies (Nike aren't alone in this, there are other BMX companies just as guilty), it seems utterly ridiculous.

Saw the pole jam in this S&M web-video, and it reminded me of how awesome pole jams are. Seriously, if you haven't ridden one, you're missing out. They're ride-able pegless too, so even if you aren't a fan of trick sticks you can still get involved. If you can't find one, make one - it's not hard.

Bits 'n' bobs.
Give-D have a cool edit up on Odyssey's site. Some really, really good riding in this, and a generally cool vibe.
Lotek have both an entirely new product line, but also a warranty page. Probably a first for a BMX shoe company? Either way, for those of you out there with hassles with Loteks, find your receipts and e-mail away.
Everyone's firing out 2010 completes, Verde are no exception.

Proper have a new edit up...
...or do they? Well, it's on their site, but apparently won't be 'unlocked' on Vimeo until Monday? Some "Exclusive" deal with Ride or something? I don't really understand it, but then again I don't fully understand how the online BMX media circus really works any more (Or how it can sustain this trend in the future). Still, exciting times, eh?
Seeing as I can't post that new video up, I might as well post this awesome 3 week old Miller edit up, simply 'cos it's still awesome.

Scraps...
Mark Noble is continuing to put up cool stuff on ESPN, showing again why he helped steer Ride so well for such a long time. In this article he has a pretty interesting interview/talk with Chris Harrison, product designer for Federal. Well worth a read!
In semi-related news, Ride have a video up on their site from the Corby sessions that took place while they got the content together for the latest Role Models issue. Seems to have been a controversial issue, but people talking is better than people keeping quiet. Being made to think about things is good...
There must've been some hectic friction burns for Jason Phelan.
In that interview issue of Ride, the long overdue Josh Bedford interview is featured as a full interview. He pulls some pretty crazy lines for it, has an interesting story to tell, and seems to generally have something worth saying. Anyways - key thing is that after KO'ing his collar bone, he's now back riding and testing a signature frame, according to Mutiny, which is where I grabbed this pic from.
Whilst we're talking about interesting, different individuals, Ian Schwartz - who's been pretty under the radar of late - has a bikecheck up on RideUS's site, which is where this tech little widget is from:
Actually, that's a lie - I just went to copy the embed code and they've disabled it, so you've got to go here to check that out. BONUS! Ian also has a few things to say on the Sunday site, including some stuff about new shoes, new spots and new Lotek videos. Apparently Rich Hirsch has remembered he's made some of the best videos around, and is going to do more. Good times!
Probably should've put this earlier, but ESPN have a new video up of Brian Hunt that seems fairly similar to one I've posted before, but I'm fairly sure isn't the same one...

Speaking of hectic, Proper have a new stem coming out in their disappointingly non-flight enabled Microlite range:
Here's the details straight from Bikeguide, which therefore might mean they're not actually true:
Specs:
- 6061 T-6
- 52mm reach
- 249g (8.78 oz)
- Recess allowing for the fork compression bolt to sink flush for a clean look.
- Rounded back that stays out of the way of your knees.
- Internally relieved and slotted top to bottom (stronger than side to side).
- Additional clamping area for slip-free bars.
S&M have a new shorter Redneck XLT coming out, and a new Randy Brown frame, but their site is so abhorrent that I'm not even going to link to it. Just imagine a slightly refined, stubbier Redneck, and a fancier Fit Dehart frame. Hey presto!
In semi-local scene news, Tom Chilvers, who some of you dudes at Pijin will know, fully mangled his ankle tonight:
Whips: Fully not worth it. But seriously dude, get well soon!
"Myspace" Dan has upped and left the UK now, having left Southampton a week or two ago. It's actually his birthday today/yesterday (3rd March), which he spent somewhere in Cambodia - happy birthday Dan!
