Well, real life's getting in the way again and Carlos is pretty dialed at the whole blog game (see post below for proof), so I'll be taking a step back a bit. Might as well do it on an awesome note - Ben Hittle has long been one of my favourite riders, and with him being bumped up to Kink's pro team Props uploaded their 'bio' with him from #78.
This is all good.

Smorgasbord.
So, here we are again. Another big gap in posts, another load of videos that were cool.
First up, Chad Kerley - hadn't really heard of him before, but it appears he's pretty good! Certainly good enough for the-company-formerly-known-as-Nike-6.0 to hook him up, which is saying something.
Sticking with shoe companies - this is the crash edit from the Osiris trip I posted before. Again, half cabs = danger danger.
Tenuous shoe company related - thought Shaun Hadlington was still on Orchid, but who knows? Not me. Anyway, Shaun's got an amazing style that's even better to see in person. This is his section from Rain Dogs and it's got some rad lines in it.
Can I keep this up? Vans have fully put out their Vans/Cult collaboration shoes, and here is Vans/Cult rider Chase Hawk doing some cool moves in the ridiculously good looking new concrete park in Austin. As if they needed more to ride over there?!
Apparently I can keep it up - Alex Donnachie rode for Lotek in this year's RideToGlory (that magazine's out now, and is well worth checking out for the DVD alone. Some awesome stuff in there, all the edits rule!), but here he is in an edit for Mutiny.
Still going - Ben Lewis hit up the Etnies 'TF' whilst over on a visit with Fit, here's a self-confessed 'dodgy iPhone edit'. Ben's also in RTG and also does good stuff. Not that surprising...
Still on Etnies - Brian Kachinsky has a new shoe out, a variation of the Jameson 2. Fairly... er... 'interesting' looking. Here's a video explaination of it, and some standard hefty riding from him too.
...and that's about it, really. I'd sort of feel bad posting up non-shoe-sponsor-related stuff even though that just seemed to pop out of nowhere. Coffee time...
EDIT: Actually, just remembered one. Must... find... connection... Darryl Tocco rides for Osiris and Aaron Smith (I think?) rides for DC. Here's a trademark "Never put out a bad edit" video from Kink of their latest sojourn to France.

So.
Drew Bezanson, eh?
The only thing bigger than the moves in that was that embed code. Jesus H. Christ that scared the hell out of me when that popped up. Speaking of rubbish embedding, oh look - the Sunday player. I used to - for some reason - think I wasn't really keen on Alex Magellan's riding, but this video set that straight. Cool style, cool outlook, cool moves. Cool.
I CtrlC+CtrlV'd that content, but I definitely won't be doing that with this Ben Hittle interview, and this Chase Dehart interview, both of which are pretty cool.
As a result of seeing that Ben Hittle interview I lurked TheKinkHouse site and saw this pretty amazing Sean Sexton edit. I'd argue that those moves were oppo rather than switch, but tomato/tomato, right? Way to use an audio joke in a text-based piece eh.
Lastly, yet another awesome video from Mathias Dandois. Seeing as street seems to generally take some cues from flat, it'll be interesting to see what people make of this...

Cavalcade of awesomeness?
You betcha! First off, an amazing edit from Kink featuring footage from the Kink House. Considering they're on 'flow', Lloyd and Ben Hittle absolutely rule in this. Some super good riding in it and a cool edit, so set aside some time to check it out. Right now.
Continuing the 'Best of 2010' web videos shenanigans, Defgrip have just put up this collection of their exclusive edits from the past year. Some really great videos in there (naturally), too many to feasibly list.
Cult have continued uploading their edits from the year, so check out their Interbike promo here and click over to their site to see more.
Ricky Adam has also got involved with posting up year-end recaps, this time a slideshow of his favourite shots of the past year. Ricky's one of the best out there so it's cool to see more of his work. RickyAdamPhoto is where you need to navigate to to see more.
That's quite a lot to be getting on with, so get it all assimilated then use it as some inspiration for tomorrow if you're lucky enough to be getting the day off thanks to that bank holiday...

Precursor.
So - at work today, the post comes in, and there happens to be a copy of Anthem II in it. Wellity wellity. That video. I'm going to do a proper stand-alone post about it tomorrow (hopefully), so in the mean-time I'll just say that you very much need to hit up the the shop and get a copy sorted for yourselves before they run out.
Back to the usual internet business in hand, Kink can also drop out the "Even our flow team kicks ass" line that another company used before, as their 'am' team gets some riding done as part the of the Jetlagged video project type affair. Some really cool riding in this - Ben Hittle, Albert Mercado, Lil Jon, etc. are involved which is all you really need to know.
For those of you weaned on the Internet and as a direct result have a 90sec long attention span and a refusal to deal with polysyllabic words, the following two nuggets of info won't appeal - you should look away now.
For the rest of you, click here to read a little interview with Etnies main designer with some cool info about a new brakeless-orientated shoe coming out from them, and click here to read a bit about Brad Simms and also bear witness to a photo of a completely ridiculous hop.

Visual treats.
Millsy has a pretty rad video part up from Federal, who have also put up a rad Barcelona video too. Some awesome riding in both of these. Great vibe, and really makes me want to be riding somewhere warmer tonight...
Following up on the awesome vibes shenanigans is Ben Hucke, who's had this fun little edit go up online.
Lastly, any Ben Hittle video is a good thing in my book, even when it's from an older DVD part (in this case, TheComeUp DVD).

BangBangBang
I've got to be up in 7 1/2 hours for work, so this is going to be rapido.
FBM have joined in the "Check out our 2011 completes!" game with their latest selection. Click the big shiny FBM link back there to check 'em out.
This is 2 weeks old but I must've missed it first time round - not second time round thanks to Tunney.
Fair play.
Ben Hittle can do no wrong. Even when he rides park he makes park look awesome.
...and with that, I'm gone. Click the 'Ben Hittle' tag below to check out other stuff he's been in - style for miles and creativity for... something that sort of rhymes with creativity and implies a lot.

Ben Hittle/Kink
Saw this cool edit on the Kink site. Bearing in mind how good their team was, how good this video is, and how long they were on the road for, that DVD should be a beast...

More S&M hub news.
Lurking pays off. Those were the shots of the S&M hub, and here's another one - this time with a drilled out 8t driver?

Shiny. Another rumour flying around is that they're potentially going to be out-sourced from S&M to none other than Profile? Who knows!
In other "Vague news about hubs" news - Alienation have popped up with a new clutch-system rear hub. Not a freecoaster! They're almost silent, and theoretically give almost instant engagement. Various companies have been doing them for MTBs for some time, and they're popular for commuter road-bikes and the like, so it was only a matter of time 'til they appeared in BMX. Allegedly the Ratchet was potentially going to be clutch-drive very, very early on, but Mr. French didn't like how quick it engaged going fakie. Hmm... Anyway, Alienation! More on Ride.

Might as well put this here too - Demolition have finally got a placca pedal out:

Apparently it's "Bad music, awesome riding" day for webvideos. First up is some nuts riding but awful music from DahStreets. Ben Hittle's getting dangerously close to breaking into the Top 5 riders to watch list?
BNQT decided to do a "Best of..." edit that teamed their best footage with the worst music they could find:

Two cool vids.
All good! Aversion have a cool new vid up, and a freshly updated site, so go to their place to check it out. Some good riding and a good vibe.
Secondly, go to Defgrip to see yet another awesome original video, this time featuring the ridiculous skills of Ben Hittle ridiculous stuff, done seemingly effortlessly. Good times...
