Saturday Video Frenzy!

That's right - Saturday Video Frenzy time.

Tom Dugan is now riding for Fit. Joe Rich is cool with this. Mike Aitken is cool with this. Ergo, you should also be cool with this. Here's a sort of 'see you later alligator' edit Joe Rich did featuring Tom, Joe and Ruben Alcantara riding some crazy setups in Malaga, at the time for T-1.

Double header from the Etnies/DansComp tour - first up, this edit of the whole trip. Features Chase Dehart, Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez, Tony Hamlin and some other people here and there. That ender is sweet.

The Bakery also have a little edit from when that trip rolled through - I'm assuming I won't be able to embed it, so click here to watch it with the date over-laid over part of the video.

Randy Taylor footage is always good to see, especially after the past 12 months where he's been MIA for one reason or other. This edit is his getting back into things vid for Mutiny.

Dennis Enarson is ridiculous, as this video I saw over on the Props site shows. Just sayin'.

Lastly, another Defgrip exclusive, another cool video. Pretty much on a 100% record there - those guys rule. This time it's a Bobby Simmons video which features some good stuff. Manuals for miles - Link!

Riding time...

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Och aye.

Man, Scotland is a weird place. Good street though, you should all go and check out Glasgow if you get the chance!

Some bits I missed out posting up last week:

Tom Dugan's a bit of a character. Riding's awesome though, and the video's pretty entertaining throughout in one way or another...

Just happened to check out Facebook and saw Lloyd Wright posting that he was now on Kink Pro. Awesome news, and very much deserved - Lloyd is rad in every way, even when you've been driving aimlessly around Wales for hours and it's raining the whole time...

The trailer for this video got posted some time ago, and now it's finally out - Almond's "Skanks and Bodyshots" video has dropped. Ben Hucke, Jared Washington (bonus gun show from him too) and Shane Weston do some cool bits 'n' bobs in this. Hop nothings look like the weirdest trick ever...

Smorgasbord.

Man, go away for another weekend and so much good stuff gets posted... Here's a quick re-cap of some treats.

Scott Ditchburn's part of the new Lotek mixtape is now up. Wonder if that first clip was a nod to the intro of the old (and awesome!) Lotek Mixtape?

Tammy has got another awesome edit out - machine! - this time for Amity.

In a slight contrast to those two vids, here's a more chilled out pair - firstly Clint Reynolds, and secondly Tom Dugan.

Then totally different to all of those - Sean Sexton and Chase Hawk took a trip to the Cayman Islands to shoot an article for Ride and get a video for Odyssey. You'll need to get Ride for the photos and text, but click below for the vid...

Defgrip have also put up Pt.2 of their Photographers feature - click here to ch-ch-ch-ch-check it.

Lastly, here's a section from Props that contains some cool riding but also an ability to completely change your internal elocution for rider's names.

Contrasts, again.

Yet another post of contrasts. Firstly, shiny, slidey, sunny American street compared to the grim UK version, courtesy of Chase Dehart and The Make's Josh Roberts.

As a bonus Make video, here's The Count's section from Rain Dogs:

Continuing the weirdness that is The Pool, here's episode 2:

Odyssey have posted up some Tom Dugan photos which also led to me remembering this gem:

Defgrip have got an edit up by Devon Hutchins of Chase Hawk and Aaron Ross doing things very easily. Click here for that.

Lastly, new Dig ahoy!

Bold claims.

I'd be willing to go so far as to say that this video is actually better than any video Odyssey have done before (yes, including Electronical). Literally too good. Lots of amazing moves in this, although Hoang Tran's 74,000mph 180 over the end of the rail down a set was ridiculous. Tom Perry and Tom Dugan have some hot lines in this too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! from ODYSSEYBMX.COM

I didn't check the length of that video before I started watching it, and every time it faded to black I thought it was the end, and was then pleasantly surprised when it kicked in again.

Dig have posted up their covers from the year, click here to view.

In related magazine news, Ride US put up this interview with Dakota Roche, Josh Harrington and Brian Kachinsky about rail moves. X-Up toothy hangers, eeeeeeh?

While we're talking new rail tech, here's the pretty sweet "Welcome to the team" edit by Christian Rigal for new sponsors United.

This isn't really 'new' any more, but Johnny Devlin's section from Into The Void is still nuts.

These are new though - filmed in Tokyo for Carhartt, Stefan Lantschner and Eduards Zunda hit up some shiny new spots that are previously un-touched by BMX, and although it's not necessarily cutting edge stuff it's still cool to see good riding on fresh, interesting setups.

Slow-moooo

Some awesome clips in this, that slow-mo 3 is sweeeeet. Very much keen on Tom Dugan's riding.

How refreshing!

Certainly a "Love or hate" kinda person, Tom "Dang Dang" Dugan's Props bio is pretty cool. This is from #72 so not really that fresh, but got uploaded by Props a few days ago. Nice to see someone cranking at stuff, doing some different things and just plain sending it. Edit's pretty interesting too, and actually features some form of biographical information too which is a definite bonus. Refreshing change to the editing-by-numbers schtick everyone else pumps out these days.

Go to PropsBMX.tv for more videos.

Saw that over on LeastMost.

I didn't see this there though, this was on the Mutiny site. Safe Nath is abroad at the moment, and here's a couple of not-much-fun looking crashes and a couple of cool lines from over there.
