All I'm saying is...

...click here, add to basket, hit up GoogleCheckout, wait for it to arrive (usually pretty rapid, cheers dudes!), put it in your DVD player, get blown away. The new WTP DVD is that good. Andrew Jackson's opening section is awesome then it just continues to escalate from there. I'd sort of forgotten how good a lot of WTP's more under the radar team is (e.g. Max Gaertig, Mike Brennan and Chester Blacksmith - all of whom you don't really see much new footage of a lot of the time), so it was a treat to see a load of bangers from them. Moving on to free stuff from people you do see a lot of, here's a mix of Garrett Reynolds, JJ Palmiere, Hoang Tran, Dennis Enarson, Ty Morrow and a couple of others. Some pretty rad moves in this. Ty Morrow = next level? Also features one of the nicest pulled toothy hangers I've ever seen courtesy of the freshly-brakeless Dennis Enarson.

Another day, another cool Rich Forne/Mutiny edit. This time featuring Mat Roe taking one in the ribs (And simultaneously one for the team) at the Works. Cool vid!



Another week, another cool Tuesdays With Miles edit. Pretty much chock full of riders I like watching ride: I approve. Fastplant to fastplant? Yeeeeah.



In semi-related news, Tammy Jane has some cool clips in this, as do the rest of the Coalition team.

I'd be willing to go so far as to say that this video is actually better than any video Odyssey have done before (yes, including Electronical). Literally too good. Lots of amazing moves in this, although Hoang Tran's 74,000mph 180 over the end of the rail down a set was ridiculous. Tom Perry and Tom Dugan have some hot lines in this too.

I didn't check the length of that video before I started watching it, and every time it faded to black I thought it was the end, and was then pleasantly surprised when it kicked in again.

While we're talking new rail tech, here's the pretty sweet "Welcome to the team" edit by Christian Rigal for new sponsors United.



This isn't really 'new' any more, but Johnny Devlin's section from Into The Void is still nuts.



These are new though - filmed in Tokyo for Carhartt, Stefan Lantschner and Eduards Zunda hit up some shiny new spots that are previously un-touched by BMX, and although it's not necessarily cutting edge stuff it's still cool to see good riding on fresh, interesting setups.

Saw this on Vimeo's homepage today, which also led me to the Etnies video for the Skate And Create competition too. In short - skate companies get given a few days in a warehouse to make a 3-5min edit. That's pretty much it...

Holidays should be relaxing

...but they aren't. As a result of a brief roadtrip then a load of image editing work, I've been a bit out of the loop this week, so as much for my own benefit as anything else, here's some stuff.

2 bits from Matty Lambert - some filming tips, and also a clip of Bengo confusing what seems like all of America with this nozzer edit.





Vimeo has some new coding action on the go, so if it goes wrong, directly blame Vimeo and indirectly blame those tool-bags over at Apple.

Dan Lacey has dropped a new Daily Telegraph edit. That's a phrase I didn't think I'd ever say. Head over to Federal to view it, as I refuse to put auto-playing videos on here...

Speaking - as we were - of Ride, they've got a new edit of Lima up which also gives you the chance to win an ATF. Click that link to go over there and grovel like a 'tard like so many people seem to, thinking it'll enhance their chances.



I don't know why, but the way that video was edited sort of made it seem like as a viewer, I was being punished for something. In related 'music I didn't like' editing news, Ride US posted a 2 week old video on their site that featured literally the worst song I've ever heard - which was in fact so bad I'm not posting it here - but it did lead me to seeing this video of Hoang Tran on Vimeo after I did a bit of lurking on Subrosa's channel. Hefty.



Another Vimeo find was this edit of Bruno Hoffmann. The guy's ridiculous.



Very much lastly because I'm tired of this screen, go to LeastMost, read an interview about it, then watch I Love My Bicycle. Most definitely worth it.

Out of the blue...

Pretty ideal video to pop up of a Saturday morning - a 35 minute web-video feat. pretty much all the most interesting riders around. Click here to view it, see some good riding, and if you're "One of them" to realise that a good video doesn't mean you put a 50mm on your dSLR, put it on a tripod then film the same boring ultra close up, slow-mo'd clips of people's tyres at a skatepark over and over again, then make a cripplingly boring 5 minute long video that could've been 30secs...

In an old interview, Eddie Cleveland replied to the question "What would you change about yourself?" with "Bigger feet and hair like a white man." Well, Eddie has another interview up, and because I have larger feet, I missed out on getting the awesome pair of Etnies from TK Maxx my house-mate got by having undersized feet. Speaking of Etnies, the Odyssey X Etnies shoe is out - click that link to check it. How's that for editorial link-up? Pretty damn fine, if I say so myself.

One of my favourite web-videos from last year was a Give-D edit of the San Diego locals with some kind of remix of Born To Be Wild as the sound-track - Albert Mercado and Hoang Tran were stand-outs in that vid, and now Albert Mercado has a new little skatepark edit I spotted on the Kink site, and Hoang Tran has some lines in the latest Tuesdays With Miles I saw on TheComeUp.





Time for some photos methinks - first up, some awesome photos by Rob Dolecki (I shouldn't need to put 'awesome' before 'photos' there, bearing in mind Rob Dolecki hasn't ever seemingly shot a bad one) on Dig from a recent Banks Jam, and then some photos of Mike Hoder in a "The new flipbook" style thing on S&M.

Well, after some 'exclusive content' (if that's what people still call it!), need to revert back to some reposted stuff. There appear to be a range of cool videos out today, which is all good.

Firstly, the Levis team mix. It's obviously going to be good, but damn, Jamie Bestwick is beyond amazing.

Kevin Kiraly generally produces some pretty amazing videos, and this one's pretty sweet even though it is purely park (boo, hiss). The brakeless flip to manny - taking it back to the old school Owain Clegg steez?



Another person it's always cool to see ride is Hoang Tran (That San Diego edit with the remix of Born To Be Wild on is too good!), so it was cool to see this pop up on my feed today, over on Odyssey's site.



In non-video news, the P5 jam at Newcastle went down this weekend - the setup was insane, and the riding was pretty nutso too. Every time I see Niki Croft ride it makes me want to ride better. The dude's amazing. Here's a little teaser anyway, more pics up on Streetphire asap!

Ride have a little interview with Tom Sanders about getting the cover-shot as part of the Hull scene check, which - incidentally - pure awesome. George Marshall can literally do no wrong. Apparently some people complained about it being too negative, but... well, the long and short of it is that they're wrong, and if you found it too depressing to read there's the colourful pictures and short little bits of text that float around Ride US or BMX Plus! you can check out instead. Everything's wonderful!

Oh, and lastly, Animal have the first coloured steel pegs. Glorious.
