Seems to be.
Kink are operating a strict 'one in one out' team member policy it seems, so out with the old (Lil Jon) and in with the new (Chad Osbourn). Style for miles.
Also, 4Down have released their "Substance #3" video, filmed in Iceland. Cool riding, cool editing, cool filming, cool temperatures.
Staff took all their ridiculously good riders on a bit of a trip. Unsurprising, the riding is really, really good.
Lastly, if you go to China, watch out for those cross-roads, yeah?

Boom goes the dynamite.
Saw this on the Orchid site earlier (For the record, 'Orchid' is the best name ever). Niki Croft is burly. Clickity.
Tunney posted up a pretty awesome video of Mat Hoffman from way back when - interestingly, from the first BMX VHS I ever bought. Worth your time, go to Props TV to check it out.
Here's the last two sections of For Those About To Peg, just to complete the series. Generally mixed reviews online, but that's pretty irrelevant. It's nice to have a video to look back on to remind you of good times you've had - I'd imagine it's not quite the same just having sour anonymous comments on a website to look back on. Who knows?

Charlie Don't Surf
Here's the last two sections from it. Such a good video... From Streetphire.
As an additional bonus, here's the T2S ad too!

My God.
What the ****?

I don't want to live in a world where this is seen as a good idea.
It almost made me forget about the new Stay Strong Federal frame, or the new Stranger website with ridiculous nosemanual video within, or the new Charlie Don't Surf section...

Coincidence...
I was thinking a night or two ago how I hadn't seen Charlie Don't Surf for ages, and contemplated banging it in my DVD player until I decided that I didn't really want to watch it at that particularly point purely because of how much I want to move back to Newcastle every time I see it... Anyways, here's the first couple of sections from it. The video builds up really well, so stay tuned for the last couple of sections. Most definitely worth it.
Mentioned the Berrics inspired 'text in' thing that Ride are running - I haven't watched these because I'm in a bit of a rush and really have better things to do right now, but they might be entertaining. The Berrics version usually is, mainly due to the editing of them, so I guess these might be...
I would very much like to ride the spot in the first section of this video.
Lastly, Chicken rules. Anyone who's been to a P5 jam will know this, but still - he's amazing.
Actually, that wasn't lastly - I mentioned last week (I think?) about Mutiny getting Rich Wilson to do an edit for them. Turns out that edit was of Safe Nath, who appears to not be scared of going fast, and have a good rollback and toboggan. All good!

Zzz.
I'm really, really tired, so apologies if this doesn't have the usual zing...
Eric Lichtenburger had a stand-out part in Sunday's DVD, and has had a few sweet webvids out - this newest one, for Lotek, is in a similar vein. Observe:
I haven't been able to ride for 2 weeks now due to the weather, and yet more snow last night hasn't really helped in that respect. If only I lived near Ray's park in the US - especially with their new Rhythm Room. That looks sweeeet!
Ride UK had some cool stuff up today, first off is this Harry Main bikecheck:
And secondly is this 'wwwin' comp for a United Mothership frame. Click Here to enter!
T-1 have been pumping out Freaky Friday posts for a while now, and here's the culmination of that effort - the Freaky Friday 'zine. Read it and not necessarily weep, 'cos it's good.
In other 'zine news, Defgrip informed me today that Holeshot #6 is out now, so if you're into it, go buy it!
Haven't had a chance to watch this fully yet so apologies if it's not what you're after, you can't win 'em all. From Repset!
Posted this last week, but Scotty T's bars to manny to 180 and Newrick's various trickery make it worth posting again while it's reasonably fresh. I miss Newcastle.
And according to my lack of open Firefox tabs, I've pretty much covered everything I was going to. I'm now going to go home and bleed the radiators in our house not just because I can't ride and have fun, but also because waking up with ice on the inside of your windows sucks.
Winter: Do one.

Newrick rules.
It's a fact, Jim Newrick rules. Unfortunately, this video's let down slightly by the amount of brutal cheating. There's literally no way that it was that sunny with blue skies in Newcastle over the summer - blue screened? In related news, people need to stop putting up awesome videos from Newcastle 'cos it's making me really want to move back up there.

Chris Lee
The Count is one of a kind. Nuts dude, friendly as hell, incredibly good at riding. He is fully not scared. I've seen some of his clips for the up-coming Make DVD, and he's dropped some nuts stuff up in Newcastle. This is his section from Dry Spell - I really hope that Newrick uploads Charlie Don't Surf some time soon (Seeing as he's sold out of copies of it anyway), purely 'cos the Count has some insane clips in there too. The world needs to know how good Chris Lee is.

Forgot a title...
Where to begin? Newrick seems as good a place as any... 4Down have continued their 'At Home With...' series with James Newrick being the next candidate. Pretty interesting guy, refreshing style of riding.
Booooonus - his NSF3 section:
Nigel Sylvester's got a new Gatorade 'infomercial' thing or whatever they're called up. Interesting seeing some more behind-the-scenes stuff.
Speaking of "behind the scenes", the Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice behind the scenes stuff is up on the Mpora site riiiiight here. Notice how I'm the only one without an interview? Well, that's what happens when you spend your entire interview talking about how you hate indoor skateparks and why street is a million times better. What can I say - it's the truth! In related news, I'm pretty glad I didn't have to get on a boat to do my 'bootcamp'. I wonder how many people are humming 'I'm on a boat' right now...
Chase Hawk's got a signature Vans shoe out, so who better to talk about it than Chase Hawk? What? You got Colin Mackay to do the talk? Right...
Laaaaaaaastly - Superstar and Data went on a trip together, and got some riding and things done. Observe!

I always laugh at James Woods' face in that image.
Well, tonight the usually awesome InTheGnar was awesome in that it reminded me of the Newrick video, but also kinda sour 'cos it had a pretty awful fixie freestyle jam video. I mean, they were talking about it in a negative way, but it still made me think about fixie freestyle which I consider a negative thing to have happen to you. Seriously - Southampton dudes - you ought to be super glad that this hasn't really kicked in with you guys. Getting snaked really, really slowly by people who are physically incapable of performing tricks is pretty infuriating. Seeing someone really slowly roll around the bottom of an awesome concrete bowl setup is pretty bad too... Anyway, yeah, enjoy.
But yeah, the Newrick video. It was never gonna be 'normal', but it's still awesome. For S&M.

TWW Side Two
Joe Cox has been gradually uploading sections from Side Two of the Tomorrow We Work DVD, and here are the first two - the Newrick/Mix section and Joe's own section. Pretty clear display in Joe's section why he's one of my favourite riders, and also that he's one of the most under-rated - check out that bike control, it's insane! Park dudes - it is possible to do stuff without dabbing brakes or bitch-cranking everywhere, just watch.

New Attila hubs?

Just clocked some new stuff on the Attila site - some Newrick inspired parts. Here's the Coastliner hub, and there's also a sprocket lurking on their main page. Cleggy's blog is always worth a read, so head over to their site, "Peep" (To quote Rob-O) their new sprocket and see what he's up to.
