Usual weirdness from Erik Elstran - all good though!
I have a feeling I neglected to post this when it originally dropped, but hey ho - the new Get Used To It video looks like it should be pretty cool:
Speaking of 'pretty cool', Pete's reply of "Take a hike, Spielberg" to a negative commenter on TheComeUp is definitely one of the best rebuttals I've seen on a BMX site. While I'm talking about TheComeUp, those BallParkFranks adverts need to go. I've got about 12 tabs open at the moment, so the race to find which tab was randomly autoplaying Dave Mirra talking about things I don't care about wasn't much fun. That's not even mentioning the massive skating adverts all round the page too. Matador nailing that targeted advertising. Oh, wait...
This was up a while ago, but it got re-posted by Cult and is worth watching again.
This is a Caleb Quanbeck video which obviously means it's going to contain at least one ridiculous nose manual, but this one luckily contains two.
Having been stuck in bed the past few days, I'm going to go and resume my marathon BBC iPlayer session. Woke at 8am, watched the end of the F1, watched the end of the MotoGP, then smashed through the Commonwealth Games coverage. I am so bored.

Context.
I'm typing this seated on a brand new office chair, sitting at a desk with my laptop, a proper mouse and mouse-mat, a digital typewriter, an external hard-drive, a massive dead moth that's staring at me and some turbo strength cold/flu medicine. Just thought I'd set that scene for you. Feels pretty pro...
Speaking of pro - the Rail Jam at Interbike is potentially the only real thing I'm going to post from Interbike in so much as it was the only thing that actually involved riding, and I'm very much more interested in that rather than more unimaginative parts. Some of the lines people do in this are about a million % more original and innovative than almost every part shown at Interbike this year. Vital had this video up - I don't want to put any spoilers, but damn... I really want to say how awesome it was to see some of the moves in there.
Speaking of things that are awesome - any Erik Elstran footage is good, and this video for The Set is no different. I'm keen on anything that's pretty much done purely to wind up people who deserve to be wound up, so if you find yourself recoiling in horror and heading over to TheComeUp to cry about the double 'giver' in this video, then you and I probably wouldn't get along.
In total contrast to that, most Etnies edits seem to be produced to try and appeal to as many people as possible and offend as few people as possible, and this video's not really much of an exception. That being said, there's some cool stuff in there.
Cult apparently had a promo they made to play at Interbike, so it should be cool seeing that when it drops for us 'normies' who didn't go to the Worst Place In The World just to look at some bicycle parts and watch Garrett Reynolds do a fakie nozzer down a ledge (Spoiler!), but The Trip have already put their promo video up. Pretty much a remix of their sweet 35min long 'promo' video from before, but still, worth watching:
Speaking of promos, I can't remember if I put this up before, and checking requires extensive clicking and looking so I'm not going to do that, but hopefully I didn't... Eclat's team is "Stacked" as they'd probably say on ESPN, and for good reason.
That's it. Apologies for the lack of external linking, but I'm very much not in the mood to type a href = "" target="_blank" and all that jazz over and over again. I hope that I'm not about to find that writing that in the middle of this paragraph explodes the Blog when I click "Publish Post" after I write the labels in for this post. If I didn't, woo. Yet more visual treats?
Best believe - some good ones today! Saw the NorthOfTen video over on FFWD a few days ago but didn't check it out. Hit every other site in existence over the last day or so and finally got to check it out. First and last clips = worth watching for definite.
...and now for something completely different. This is from Dave King, and it's pretty nuts. Bit of dedication building wise, to put it mildly. Looks like fun though! Head on over to Derelict to view it.

This is going to be a long one.
Top billing today most definitely goes to one of the best BMX photographers out there, Mr. Rob Dolecki. His new site is up now and is super good. Go check it out here and have a good nose around, plenty of awesome content!
In other creative type stuff, Mutiny have re-posted Rich Wilson's Media Apprentice video, with a cryptic 'Expect more soon' kinda thing. Should be interesting to see what that's all about, but in the mean time, an awesome video:

Very much unrelated, apart from the it has the name 'moon' in the title, but the sequel to the absolutely awesome Lotek Mixtape is out later this year, according to their site. Can't wait for that, big guns!
It was pretty big news a while back, but Brad Simms has an interview out with some cool photos of rad (and sorta un-pulled stuff) trickery that talks a bit about his dropping from the Snafu team. Go to Ride US to check that out.
Last but not least, here's a Howies web-video for you to feast your eyes on.
...and with that, I'm gonna eat some soup, shoot some pool, then take some photos of shiny coloured aluminium stuff.
