Mix.

Bleurgh. Long days in work = less time to update: Apologies all round. A quick lunch-time update:

WTP's new parts are now live on their site. Go check 'em out, they're sweet!

Phil Aller threw together some left-over clips as a little Profile edit. Short 'n' sweet.

Subrosa have a video up on Defgrip to go along with their Disposed feature on there. Every time I saw Miles Rogoish ride I was half expecting to see an E.T. in every clip, but there's a few less in this video than recently. Some cool riding in it!

This was posted by Paolo over on the Dig site. Paolo pretty much always posts cool, interesting stuff and this is no exception. Gotta be a pretty sweet job doing this sort of thing!

2vids1link.com

I think I posted this video, but I can barely remember what I did 2 days ago let alone 2 months ago - regardless, here's both parts of a Profile trip. It contains Mulville which, on it's own, makes them worth a watch, but there's some good stuff to be seen so just click play...

In other news, RideUK have a new 'TXT' feature that I've never seen before.

A few more things...

Apparently some kid in America wanted to one-up Randy Taylor's ridiculo-whip, and has taken it to a 21-set. Sounds like a bit of a character from Adam's post, but hey ho, can't win 'em all:

I could've sworn I saw this video a few days ago, but I'm guessing that's impossible. Still, a very similar vid... eerie. Anyway, this is Grant Castelluzzo doing some pretty interesting moves with a pretty fruity Italian sounding name which should probably be some kind of bonus combo multiplier, meaning everything is actually twice as good as it is...

Phil Aller seems to be one of those 'sponsored people'. You don't really see much from him, but you sorta know he's sponsored, and just sort of assume he's good. He's now switched from what I would've thought would've been a reasonable setup at KHE with his signature bike series to Stolen Bikes. 'Frying pan' and 'fire' immediately spring into my mind. Regardless, hopefully it all works out for him.

I'm posting this purely 'cos of the thread the needle tree gap. Literally just 'cos of that (Well, I've not watched it all yet, but that was something out of the ordinary which is a 'once in a blue moon' sort of eventuality with online webvideos, so I thought I'd better mention it).

That was from Tempered Bikes in case you didn't notice.

I'm now off to go home to stick pins into some voodoo dolls representing the DVLA, Royal Mail and all of their employees (If you work for Royal Mail or the DVLA then obviously I don't mean you (Unless you're as bad at your job as all of your colleagues appear to be, in which case... well... I do)).

Carhartt win.

(Helpful edit: Auto-running videos need to stop. In any case, about 4 videos down that Profile video's going to start blaring away so you might wanna scoot down the page, nip that in the bud, then head back up here and begin reading...)

It's really no surprise Rich Wilson (or Forne depending on where you look/who you speak to?) won the Nike Apprenticeship with skills like these! The dude's awesome at making videos, this is no exception. A pretty different take on indoor park videos, so no doubt the interwebs are going to be flooded with copy-cat edits asap. You know it'll happen...

Niki was riding the P5 jam with some "RIP Broady Banks" stickers on his bike, commemorating the recently merked Nottingham spot. To give you an inkling about what the spot was like, here's a section from The Make's What's What DVD with some classic footage from there.

I can't remember whether this Mulville video got posted out, but basically the dude utterly rules so any content is good content. This video is a bit older, and this Profile video is... well... newer? Anyway, here's two videos of Mark Mulville.

I shamelessly copied those videos from Deluxe.

Oh, and in other news that's very much less interesting from my point of view, Jake Daw is now riding for Stereo BMX, who aren't Stereo set up by My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee. I mean really - there are a katrillion different words in the English language, I'm sure they could've found something else? "Publish"? "Post"? "Save"? "Now"? "Draft"? "Autosaved"? Just a few that spring to mind...

That's Jake riding, anyway. Enjoy it if you're into that parky biz.

Oh, the internet...

Intermittent wireless connections are pretty much the worst. I've been trying to do this for about 5 minutes, and I've typed one and a bit sentences. Patience tester!

Anyway, Frenchys have put up a video from Day 1 of their tour. Got some good riding in this, and Randy Taylor doing a flair to kneejam?

Deluxe posted up this video today of Tomas Kudrnac. Metallica in a web-video? Damn straight!

TCU posted up these photos of some new Madera and Profile parts. Now, that seatclamp 'finish' (For want of a better word) is sweet, but it's just another example of a bikepart that looks awesome, but I can't see how it'd look good on a bike? I guess it is only a seat-clamp...

I made a post a day or two ago in which I made a joke about Fit/S&M/Rob-o/Moeller. It was purely based around the often crazy rumours (The highlight being one involving a grandmother taking Robbie Morales to court?!) that are flying around messageboards and forums around the net, and wasn't intended as anything malicious or offensive. If anyone felt put out by it, then I apologise for that, but it certainly wasn't meant in that way.

Happier stuff...

ESPN had this video up today, well worth checking out. Yeah, yeah, he's goof - but so what, the riding's awesome!

Awesome on ESPN is another of Mark Noble's awesome series of interviews with various movers and shakers in the BMX industry, this time is the "Part two" of his interview with Profile. Click, read, learn.

Props have a new video out soon, #73. Still using that same title sequence, troopers.

Rich Wilson's first job since getting the Nike gig was to document NASS, which he duly did. Here's the 'non riding' edit that I saw on Ride's site:

"Lil Jon" took time out from being a mediocre rapper to do a web-video for Sun-Ringle:

I've been mentioning the whole BMX media thing quite a lot recently, and how I'm pretty sure there's change in the air - perhaps this is the first sign? According to TheComeUp:

Alex Raban sent over this day edit of Ian Munro shredding a school. Apparently it was supposed to be a “paid for” exclusive edit on a site, but it got turned down because the riding wasn’t up to par.

I wasn't particularly keen on it anyway, but it's interesting that that's how sites are operating these days. Point of the web-edit's apparently been missed?
