With John doing an awesome job of holding down the local news/product news side of things, here's some inspiration from further afield...
Dyno was someone who I enjoyed riding with back in my Newcastle days, and even back then he wasn't scared of doing some pretty wild moves. With a filmer more readily available, a bike not cobbled together out of swap-meet bits from Exi skatepark and another year or two of progression and development, here's his Spring 2011 edit for KIS. Moves!
After starting with a bit of a banger, it's time to get a bit serious - Niki Croft is well-known throughout the UK (and the world, to be fair). He's a sound dude with some serious skills to boot, but he got taken down by a savage crash at the Cycle Show a while back. Rich Forne documented some of Niki's return to action, and that became the basis of one of the series of Relentless Short Stories that have been popping up over the past year or so. Here it is - it's a bit full-on, but definitely worth watching through.
Lightening the mood again - I'd seen bits here and there online in the run-up to the Texas Toast jam that Odyssey put on over in Austin, but it wasn't until today I actually saw anything of it. Pretty amazing! Gauntlet of Death is awesome. Comps like this are the future - you can take your massive box jumps and pentuple whips, this looks like more fun to me...
As a result of a 4-day event the company I work for put on last weekend I didn't get a chance to post this when it was 'fresh', but here's a cool video of Seamus McKeon. Really like watching him ride, so more footage is always a treat.
I'm fully in need of some sleep so that'll have to do for now...

Round-up.
After a few days absence, here's a bit of a round-up of the things I thought were good this week:
May remember me saying earlier in the week: "Something that did come from TheComeUp is this - the intro to OSS "Football", and the first section by Mr. Rory Ellis. Tune! Very much looking forward to Craig Passero and Mastroni's sections in that." Well, here is Craig Passero's section, and it lived up to my expectations!
George Marshall is one of the best BMX photographers in the UK (if not the world, to be fair), and so it's always good to see new content from him - this time over on Defgrip.
A couple of pieces I spotted on Facebook again - firstly a couple of videos linked up by WTP's loose cannon in London Tim Lewis. Both of these videos are edited by Mr. Consistent, Duncan Lloyd, and feature some cool riding from a variety of known and lesser known London names, as well as a section from Merlin. Rad dudes the lot of 'em.
Dyno posted this up too advertising KISBikeCo's - who Dyno's been riding for for a while now - latest frame, the Spark.
Back to more people-I-don't-know based stuff - Floyd, one of Cult's team riders, put up this edit earlier in the week. Pretty cool edit!
Speaking of cool edits, Tom Davis is getting pretty serious these days.
I hadn't really seen much of Kyle Hart's riding before, but just knew he was a pretty loose dude. Turns out he's got the skills too, though. Nollie 5 and oppo 3 rail hops = choice.
Lastly, as I sit here listening to the rain smashing into my window, here's a bit of a Q&A with Bas Keep who's currently living it up in Austin, Texas. Click here to read that, then lurk the Twitter feed embedded in the page to see things like this photo Dakota Roche posted up to show the winter they're dealing with over in Cali. Jealous...

Cool video on Friday?
Notice how last Friday I made a 'cool video Friday' post? Well, turns out that - courtesy of some power-lurking on Facebook there's going to be a 'cool video Friday' this Friday at the shop in the form of an Anthem II showing. I know how good that video's going to be. You know how good that video's going to be. If it wasn't a 6 hour drive to get there I'd be all over that, so if you have a less than 6 hour drive to get there you really should be going there. Even if it's not for you, do it for me.
Speaking of Facebook lurking, it also allowed me to see this gem from what I'm going to call the Case-book page - a sweet exclusive edit from Vinyl which features a song with what sounds like the line "Come back baby/I'll bust you up".
Just in case that doesn't work, if you click that link up there then yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, to quote Rudyard Kipling fully out of context.
Whilst we're taking stuff out of context, I also got a glimpse of this courtesy of Facebook. If you're a TLC fan, look away now.
Unbeknownst to me, Shadow have been uploading Into The Void, with this week's section being the Chase Dehart/Dave Rytell split. It's a pretty bold section in that instead of music, Shadow decided to apparently just loop some white noise, but it does feature some Chase Dehart footage in his techidy-tech peak (you know, back when the tech:burly ratio was much more in favour of the tech) which is always good to see.
This also leads me to wonder whether Shadow will try and replicate their 'hidden sections' thing when they post the video online by hosting the videos on some obscure website that you'll only ever find when someone on BikeGuide happens to stumble across it.
For some reason, videos on Ride's site never seem to play properly for me. I know Dyno told me he was supposed to be heading to Ramp City soon and that I should get amongst it, so I'm effectively posting this here so I can actually watch it and see if he went. Because of that, I have no idea how good this video is, so I'll need to place it in some sort of quarantine state:

And that's about that, I think. I just realised the 'autosaved at' thing says 22:20, which means I need to not be on here any more.
EDIT: Turned out that Scattered edit was actually cool. Bonus! Fair play for whoever it was who delivered the most clearly annunciated "Wa-hoo" ever at the end too.
