Graffiti and BMX collide - Red Bull Urban Rhythm

The rain couldn't stop the athletes and artists from turning downtown Houston into their playground haven tonight at Red Bull Urban Rhythm. Hucker and GONZO247's collaboration to create a one-of-a-kind street art BMX track came to life as the athlete's took to riding the course after the storm. The crew of athletes and builders came together to clear the water from the track after the rain affected the features. Sweat and hard work paid off as the team was able to dry the course off and make it safe again to ride. The clouds parted just in time as an excited local crowd packed in

Red Bull - Video: Rock Park

The stone cliffs of Gozo provide a natural skatepark for Sergio Layos, Ben Hennon and Liam Eltham. On the small island of Gozo, in the Mediterranean, exists a freak of nature. Thousands of years of erosion have carved a landscape of cliffs into a natural and ancient skatepark.

An area of rideable sandstone cliffs is isolated to a one-mile stretch of coastline, first found by local riders from the neighbouring island of Malta.

Miles from the nearest city, Hennon, Lima and Sergio camp out on the hard rock surface by the ocean to ride the very unique spot for a full day under the baking sun.

Kriss Kyle Riding Shotgun: Episode One

First up, Kriss leaves Unit 23 in Glasgow to head to Canada to spend time with Drew Bezanson, a rider who is “…completely different compared to most riders, he goes higher than anyone else, he’s not scared to do his stuff” according to Kriss. The respect is obviously mutual as Drew says, “I’ve watched a ton of Kriss’s edits and I’m a fan of his…he’s so creative!”

Drew invites Kriss to ride the renowned Joyride Park as well as some of Toronto’s hidden riding spots under the guidance of filmer Justen Soule, who uses the trip to put together an edit of two of the most creative riders in BMX, which drops at the end of the episode.

Everyone knows that Colorado has some of the best scenery and the raddest cement skateparks in the world. Those factors amongst others lured Kris Fox, Pat "Big Daddy" Laughlin, and Josh Clemens to the Mile High City and the surrounding areas for five days of shreddin’. The guys rode a ton of amazing skateparks & dirt jumps all the while dodging the biggest rain storm to hit Colorado in the last 35 years. Nothing could stop the SE Bikes team in ColoRADo!

This is possibly the closest that I'm ever going to get to Interbike... But at least Vital have got things dialled! 

Now these are the brands that stood out to me, I will not be posting every brand simply because they didn't make an impact on me but that should mean nothing to the rest of the bmx community.

I was actually impressed by the cranks from this edit but I'm not too sure about those invest cast forks? With those sweet weld marks by the drop-outs that lead me to think that they aren't...
And also they could of spoken about their Coaster a bit more in detail.
Sprocket looks good for a budget though and I like the simple idea behind a VS Rim without the white stickers, I've built a few of those rims for Ben Wallace and they are more than good enough for him and also they are very easy to build as the welds are normally real clean.

The Biggest Dirt Jump Contest of 2013 - Red Bull Dreamline

Put the world's best BMX dirt jumpers and trail riders on one of the most amazing dirt contest courses ever built, and you get top-notch, progressive riding and a hell of a good time.

The Finals at Red Bull Dreamline 2013 consisted of 12 riders who threw their best tricks out in a laid-back, two-hour jam session. The judging was handled by the riders themselves, because no one knows how hard it is to do the tricks on this course than the riders themselves.

The top 3 riders in the final were as follows: Pat Casey (USA), TJ Ellis (USA), and Kyle Baldock (AUS).

Seventies BMX - The Last 'Our House' Session

It's been almost two years since we opened the doors at 'Our House'.
In that time we have invited friends from both close and afar and seen more amazing riding from here than we had ever anticipated.

Federal, The Shadow Conspiracy, Cult, DUB, MacNeil, Mutiny, The Make, Bone Deth, Hoffman and even our good friends at Premier, Pijin, 20Twenty, RADBMX and Crucial BMX shops are just a few of the many riders who passed through.

Sadly all good things must come to an end, so to celebrate the life of Our House we held a small jam to bid it's farewell.

Riders: Josh Harrington, Brian Kackinsky, Eddie Zunda and Greg Illingworth

For the second chapter of Make It Happen, we ventured to the vast cities of mainland China. We started in Hong Kong and headed into the mainland by train. The crew were handpicked for their ability as hardened travellers to cope with a foreign land such as China. It was a hard but rewarding journey. By day we rode endless miles in intense heat and humidity, seeking out new and untouched spots. We made our way from to city to city like a group of heavily laden packhorses with all our bikes and luggage, all drenched in sweat. But all the blood, sweat and hospital visits were worth it, as you will see in the full video at the end of 2013.

Haro has so much history in BMX Freestyle and we respect the past and also pave the way for the future. It was so good hanging out with the old crew sharing stories from the road.

Josh really went in on this video with clips that include his crazy RideBMX cover shot and the final clip blew all of our minds and I'm sure yours too. Josh hit that first try just before midday and it was the first clip on the Premium catalog trip. What a way to start a trip!

Remote Control Barspin Bike Invention! Getting (Super) Awesome With Ryan Nyquist Ep. 20

Ryan Nyquist sets out to invent the first ever spring-loaded spinning BMX handlebars. In an attempt to mechanize BMX barspins, Ryan along with his brother Shea, take several interesting approaches including a coiled spring, pyrotechnics, and a cordless grinder, but it's the combination of a direct drive pully system and a motorcycle starter battery operated by a remote control that really gets Ryan's handlebars spinning on their own. The end result is Ryan pulling off two unassisted barspins—a BMX first! Hell yeah!
