Inspiration...

It was weird - last week, I just didn't really get that vibe off anything I really saw online. Not too sure why, but this week's certainly different. To kick it off, here's the 'final' video of The Pool jam. Pretty good effort by everyone involved, this video sort of sums it up better than most others did!

Craig Passero is really getting too good now, considering he's still relatively unheard of for the masses. That feeble to nose bonk/manual 360 thing is ridiculous.

I spotted this earlier on via Mutiny, as it features a couple of dudes from their team - notably Robbo who's responsible for all this:

Defgrip, as ever, are continuing to pump out quality content, this time featuring the lesser-spotted Wolfman. Apparently even his relatively simple views are still contentious enough for the BMX world, c'est la vie... Much respect to anyone holding down a job that time-consuming/energy-sapping and still getting out riding. Makes me feel that much more of a pussy if I drop out the "Oh, I'm a bit tired tonight..." after the ol' 9-5. Click here for that.

Lastly, Streetphire is all shiny and new. If you're friends with me on Facebook and were wondering why I was liking and disliking Streetphire-related stuff, it was all in the name of H-Man's progress. So there...

Rain.

Meh...

The second best BMX shop in the world (We all know who #1 is), ThePeople'sStore are producing a DVD, and here's the trailer. They've got some ridiculous riders on their team/in their area, so you know it's going to be good. Check how locked-in that nozzer is!

Wolfman appears to be upsetting people by running 2 pegs, 48 spoke wheels and 'not enough Macneil stickers' - it's amazing what people pick up on. Bikecheck's up here.

Saw this over on Defgrip - pretty snazzy online photobook thing by this dude. I'd put up some sample pics, but the blogger console doesn't appear to be working properly. Not ideal...

I put something up about it on Streetphire, and now Dig have their Repo from the Charles Prow jam. Worth a read.

Snippets.

Lotek have unveiled their new line of shoes and clothing - some pretty rad T's this time around, and some pretty sweet looking shoes too. Click here to go there directly.

Speaking of - Fremont/Lotek rider Wolfman has a video bikecheck up from the Macneil site.

Wolfman Bike Check from MACNEIL BMX on Vimeo.

Linked in with Macneil, Gary Young is one of the four riders in a surprisingly bad web-edit, considering it's made by Vans and has some pretty good riders in it. One line, for example, is about 15secs long and ends with Ali Whitton doing a 180 down a 3-set. Right... Anyway, if you're really bored and don't have anything else better to do, click here.
